Royal Botanic Garden Victoria Annual Report 2022

I was asked to propose and design a functional, engaging and memorable annual report for The Royal Botanical Garden Victoria. Due to time constraints, I opted for a graphical approach. With this in mind, I chose purple to represent royalty, accompanied by a complementary shade of orange. I represented the landscape, the environment and plant species in a two-tone abstract silhouette manner.

Conclusion

I found this project fun to explore, especially the use of a bold eye-catching colour palette. A key takeaway for me was learning the importance of content placement to create a visually engaging layout for my readers. Something that I would improve if given more time was the grid structure and paragraph settings.
